Her Story

Sharetha Nicole, is a Jackson, MS native, mother, 4-time published author, inspirational leader and speaker, former photographer, and registered nurse.  Having worn several hats in her life, she leverages her expertise to help others become the best version of themselves, whether personally or professionally.

Sharetha is a 1995 graduate of Callaway High School in Jackson, MS.  She received her Interior Design degree from Antonelli College and her nursing degrees from Hinds Community College and the University of MS Medical Center.  In 2022, she aimed to fulfill a goal that was both personal and professional: earning her MBA from Jackson State University.

Growing up in Mississippi, Sharetha has faced her share of challenges. However, 20 years ago, God altered the trajectory of her life through a television commercial.  Since then, she has been featured on radio shows, in newspaper and magazine articles, and on WLBT's "Midday Mississippi" broadcast. She has also received honors; the VIP award for Vision, Inspiration, and Purpose was one of them.  In 2009, Sharetha began holding private gatherings in her living room to create a safe space for subjects that she believed were "swept under the rug."  Then, in 2014, after encouragement from those in her inner circle, she took her events public.

She is known for her ability to foster an atmosphere, apply creativity, and inspire hope. The events culminate in unforgettable details that people can carry with them into their everyday lives. One of those aspects involved the audience writing their trails and transgressions symbolically on a balloon, which they then released while standing in the heart of downtown Jackson.  "The Release"  was so compelling that it was used as the title of her debut book that published in 2016.

Despite moving to Dallas, TX in 2019 to further her profession and take advantage of new possibilities, Sharetha never loses sight of her Mississippi roots and remains a beacon of light for others. Today, Sharetha speaks at private and company events, sponsors scholarships, teaches book writing courses, mentors, volunteers, and works as a Nurse Manager for a large health plan in the state of Texas.
